The Initial assessment is an opportunity for you to come into our studio, meet some of the instructors and gain a better understanding of what to expect from our Pilates sessions. In addition, you have the option of the following: − An anthropometry assessment including weight, height and Body Mass Index; circumference measurements and a body fat analysis − A Digital Postural Analysis. The Introductory workshop is a requirement prior to commencing in our group sessions. This is a 45-minute session, conducted in a group, where you will be introduced to the principles and fundamentals of Pilates and taken through a series of exercises. This workshop allows you to become familiar with Pilates terminology and equipment, ensuring you are well equipped to join our group sessions. Should you choose to do Private (one-on-one) sessions your “Introductory workshop” will form part of your initial private session. Initial assessment: By appointment Introductory workshop: Saturdays 8:00 - 8:45am or 11:45 - 12:30pm (Booking essential) Group Sessions Maximum of 8 people in a group. Sessions run for 45 minutes. All sessions incorporate both mat and equipment work for head to toe conditioning. Private Sessions Private Sessions are by appointment & incorporate mat & equipment work. The instructor works one-on-one with the individual ensuring exercises are executed to perfection ,ensuring optimal results. Flexibility, strength, muscle tone & coordination are all targeted in accordance with individual goals.
