We cater for beginners right through to the elite level athlete. Our main aim is to assist you in leading a healthy, enthusiastic and more positive life. Pilates will help you look and feel your very best, no matter what your age or fitness level. ^TOP Sessions available At Acacia Health we offer a range of sessions to suit all needs and budgets: Introductory Session Your introduction to Pilates at Acacia Health is through an Introductory session. The Introductory session is an opportunity for you to come into our studio, meet some of the instructors and gain a better understanding of what to expect from Pilates at Acacia Health. The Introductory session is a requirement prior to commencing in any of our Pilates sessions. This is a 45-minute session, where you will be individually assessed and introduced to the principles and fundamentals of Pilates. This session allows you to become familiar with some basic Pilates terminology and equipment and introduces you to a few Pilates exercises. During this session your instructor will be able to advise you as to which type of session is most appropriate for you to join into. All introductory sessions are by appointment. Please call or email us to make a suitable time. Group sessions Each group session is limited to a maximum of 8 participants. All sessions incorporate both mat and equipment work for head to toe conditioning. Sessions run for 45 minutes. Please see our timetable below for all group session times Private and semi-private (max 4) sessions Private and semi-private sessions are by appointment and incorporate mat and equipment work. A program is developed for each individual. The instructor works closely with each individual ensuring exercises are executed to perfection thus ensuring optimal results. Flexibility, strength, muscle tone and coordination are all targeted in accordance with individual goals. Clinical Pilates Clinical Pilates is ideal for people with musculoskeletal injuries who require personal attention from a clinical pilates specialist such as a physiotherapist, chiropractor or exercise physiologist. Clinical Pilates will assist in rehabilitation from an injury or chronic condition. Experience clinical pilates in a private or semi-private session.  Pre and post natal Pilates At Acacia Health we offer a range of Pilates sessions suitable for pre- and post-natal women. Specific pre- and post-natal classes can be arranged at a time suitable to you through private and semi-private sessions. These sessions have a strong focus on pelvic floor, core strength and strengthening muscles to support the changes that occur to your body both during and after pregnancy. Depending on your level of fitness, strength and experience you may feel comfortable joining into group sessions. With a maximum of 8 participants, our instructors are trained to ensure attention to detail and assist you with the required exercise modifications as you progress through your pregnancy.
