Winter warmer and inspiration
July Workshop:
Keeping your kids healthy, fit and motivated
We all are all aware of just how important it is to instil healthy lifestyle habits in our children, however statistics paint a grim picture for the youth of today.
- Around 1 in 4 Aussie kids are overweight or obese
- It is estimated that 20-25% of Australian children are not physically active
- Children as young as 10 are suffering high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
If established during childhood, healthy lifestyle habits are a lot easier to maintain.
As a parent you truly want to give your child the best start in life. Our July workshop will give you up-to-date researched information and some practical tools to assist you in teaching your children to eat healthy foods, to participate in some physical activity and to understand how their bodies work and why they should look after themselves.
