Due to the enormous success of the "Biggest Loser program" in 2007, we will be running a "Biggest Loser 2008 program"

Recipe of the Month: Rice, pumpkin and rocket salad


Serves 4pumpkin.jpg
1kg peeled Jap pumpkin, cut into chunks
1 cup long-grain brown rice
100g baby rocket
50g slivered almonds, toasted
2 spring onions, sliced
3 Tbsps chopped coriander
1 tsp sesame oil
2 Tbsp sweet chilli sauce
2 Tbsp lemon juice

Preheat oven to 180C
Place pumkin in baking dish and bake for 40 minutes or until soft. Set aside to cool
Cook the rice as per packet instructions
Combine rice, pumpkin, rocket, almonds, spring onions and coriander in a bowl.
Whisk together sesame oil, sweet chilli sauce and lemon juice. Pour over the salad and gently toss to combine

We are thrilled to announce that our "Run/walk with purpose" program will be travelling interstate this year. Yes, we will be taking a group up to Sydney to take part in the must-do City-to-surf fun run.
What a brilliant excuse for a few days away!


In addition, we will be participating in Melbourne's Run for the Kids event and the Melbourne Marathon Festival

Run/walk with purpose sessions have been designed to cater for all fitness levels. Come along and give a session a go. These sessions are a fun social way to get fit and enjoy the great outdoors.
